The Practice of Mahamudra with Laura Kaufman

5 Saturdays: Oct. 26, Nov. 23, Dec. 28, 2024 &
Jan. 25, Feb. 22, 2025, In-Person,

1:00 – 5:00 pm Eastern Time

You are invited to join us for this monthly meditation program—five Saturday afternoons devoted to Mahamudra Investigations practice beginning on October 26, 2024. Our sessions will be based upon the text by Karmapa IX Wangchuk Dorje, Pointing out the Dharmakaya, as well as on the practice instructions of Ven. Thrangu Rinpoche and Dzogchen Ponlop Rinpoche. Laura Kaufman will introduce and lead the sessions.

This program is open to all who have received instruction in the practice of Shamatha meditation. An established practice of Shamatha is the essential foundation upon which this precious teaching of the Kagyu lineage rests. You are welcome to attend any or all of the sessions, though the first session on October 26 is strongly recommended to all participants as an introduction and refresher.

Your prompt arrival is requested to support the practice environment.

Laura Kaufman has studied Mahamudra with Khenpo Tsultrim Gyamtso Rinpoche and Dzogchen Ponlop Rinpoche, and has practiced it under the guidance of Khenchen Thrangu Rinpoche in the three-year retreat at Sopa Choling, Gampo Abbey.
