Nine Considerations and Criteria for Benefitting Beings by Patrul Rinpoche

We are delighted to inform you that Acharya Lhakpa Tshering will begin a series of  Thursday evening teachings on the “Nine Considerations and Criteria for Benefitting Beings” by the famous Dzogchen Master Dza Patrul Rinpoche.

In this important guide to Mahayana ethics, Patrul Rinpoche elaborates upon nine points or criteria that a follower of the bodhisattva path should consider when seeking to act for others’ benefit. Acharya’s teachings will be based on a recent translation of this text by Dzogchen Ponlop Rinpoche.

This is a series of evening talks. There is no need to register; drop-ins welcome. There is also no reading requirement.

7:15  – 8:15  Talk and Q&A
8:15 - 9:00   lite snacks and discussion

Acharya Lhakpa is a resident of  New York City and resident teacher at Nalandabodhi New York. He is particularly skilled at making the dharma accessible to students of all backgrounds. His gentle erudition and spontaneous humor have made him a much beloved member of the New York Nalandabodhi sangha.

Suggested Donation: $20 at the door. Special accomodations and work study available. No one will be turned away for lack of funds.
