Book Club at Nalandabodhi New York
Friday, Nov. 30, 6:30 – 9:00 pm

Discussing a selected book in a friendly and supportive group setting helps to develop a deep understanding and familiarity with the material. The book we will be discussing is No Time To Lose, A Timely Guide To The Way of the Bodhisattva by Pema Chodron. Pema Chodron guides us through The Way of the Bodhisattva, a classic Buddhist Mahayana text composed by Shantideva. The procedure of our book club is to rotate discussion leadership. We will begin with a period of meditation from 6:30 to 7:00 pm. Please read the first two chapters: “Developing a Clear Intention” and “Preparing the Ground”. Future club meeting dates and chapter readings will be determined at each session, roughly once a month. Drop-ins are welcome. Suggested donation is $5.00. We look forward to seeing you!
